Her act of the schoolgirl singer Insiya who becomes a burqa-clad Secret Superstar is so easy and natural, you don't feel it is a performance. Aamir Khan need not have had a role in the film. In Secret Superstar, Zaira Wasim shows she can carry the film on her shoulders alone. All credit to Aamir Khan, director Advait Chandan and Dangal director Nitesh Tiwari for finding this gem of a performer from Kashmir. With Secret Superstar that she earned herself in the first audition, Zaira Wasim has moved leaps and bounds in her film career. It marks a major turn in the career of Dangal actor Zaira Wasim, who was a force to reckon with as the younger Geeta Phogat on screen.
